New Al Qaeda Video: American Muslims Should Buy Guns, Start Shooting People

In a new video message released on the internet Friday, American-born al Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn calls on Muslims living in America to carry out deadly one-man terrorist acts using fully automatic weapons purchased at gun shows, and to target major institutions and public figures.

"What are you waiting for?" asks Gadahn in English, and then adds that jihadis shouldn't worry about getting caught, since so many have been released. "Over these past few years, I've seen the release of many, many Mujahideen whom I had never even dreamed would regain their freedom."

The two-part, two hour video appeared on jihadi websites Friday with images of jihadi leaders as well as snapshots of alleged underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan. Both Hasan and Abdulmutallab are charged with carrying out attacks inside the U.S.

Called "Do Not Rely on Others, Take the Task Upon Yourself" and produced by al Qaeda's media arm, as Sahab, the tape mixes Gadahn's new message with clips from old videos of Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and other al Qaeda leaders praising one-man attacks. CAIRO – An American spokesman for Al Qaeda is urging Muslims in the United States and Europe to carry out attacks there.

In a video posted on militant websites Saturday, Adam Gadahn directed his appeal to Muslim immigrants in what he called the "miserable suburbs" of Paris, London and Detroit as well as those traveling to the West to study or work.

Gadahn grew up on a farm in California and converted to Islam before moving to Pakistan in 1998 and reportedly attending an Al Qaeda training camp. He has been wanted by the FBI since 2004...

Al-Qaida Warns Of New Attacks Deadlier Than Before

CAIRO – Al-Qaida's U.S.-born spokesman warned President Barack Obama Sunday that the militant group may launch new attacks that would kill more Americans than previous ones.

In a taunting, 24 minute message that dwelled on Obama's setbacks, including the loss of Massachusetts Senate seat to the Republicans, Adam Gadahn set out al-Qaida's conditions for peace with the U.S., including cutting support for Israel and withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

Gadahn said that if you compared the number of dead Muslims "with the relatively small number of Americans we have killed so far, it becomes crystal-clear that we haven't even begun to even the score," he said, dressed in a white robe and turban.

"That's why next time, we might not show the restraint and self-control we have shown up until now," he said. Even if al-Qaida was defeated, "hundreds of millions of Muslims" would still fight the U.S., he added.

Al-Qaida offered the same conditions for an end to hostilities to then President George W. Bush in 2007, including the release of all Muslim prisoners and cutting off aid to Middle East governments.

Gadahn's statement was notable for its mocking tone, in which he described Obama as "a devious, evasive and serpentine American president with a Muslim name," and seemed to delight in his setbacks.

"You're no longer the popular man you once were, a year ago or so," he crowed, ascribing his drop in popularity to the escalation of the U.S. wars abroad.

At the time of Obama's election, many analysts said al-Qaida was worried that his race and Muslim family connections would make him more appealing to Muslims and Arabs angry at Bush's foreign policy.

In its statements since his election, al-Qaida has taken pains to show the continuity between Obama's foreign policy and that of his predecessor.

Gadahn is wanted by the FBI since 2004 with a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction. He is also known as Azzam al-Amriki, Arabic for the American.

Adam "Pearlman" Gadhan Lived With ADL Board Member Grandpa When He Converted To Islam

A revealing artcle appeared in the Orange County register yesterday regarding Adam "al-Qaida" Gadahn, the Orange County man who moved to Pakistan and is allegedly a radical terrorist and public relations spokesman for al-Qaida. There had been unconfirmed reports that 31 year old Gadahn had been arrested in Pakistan, but it turned out to be someone else, allegedly a man from Pennsylvania.

Many constitutionalists who have a researched and conspiratorial view of the world and of the events of September 11th in particular, are already well aware that the alleged terrorist from OC is the Jewish grandson of an ADL board member.

But the fact that the young man was allegedly converted and radicalized only after moving to his grandparents home and 'discovering Islam on the internet' might raise some eyebrows. Gadahn moved in with his grandparents in Santa Ana, CA in the mid 1990's, converted to Islam in 1995 and travelled to Pakistan at least once before his grandfather died at the age of 90 in October 1998...
