1. An easily deceived person.
2. A person who functions as the tool of another person or power.
The Hutaree were tools. They were set up like bowling pins by the Feds to take the fall and act as the linchpin to a campaign of suppression against the following: Militia members, Tea Party Protesters, Conservatives, Christians, Patriots, Constitutionalists...
Basically, these dupes are being presented by the corporate-controlled media as "poster-children" and representatives of all of the above groups in order to discredit them. They are sending a chill message that if anyone believes in Liberty and upholding the Constitution, that person MUST be a "crazed, right-wing, religious lunatic!"
And to our military and law enforcement personnel...please, don't let YOURSELVES become compartmentalized dupes for a bunch of corporate, elitist, internationalists. YOU ARE BEING USED.
Know their game, folks...know their game and don't believe the lies of the Feds/Media/Southern Poverty Law Center...]
Hutaree Leader Loved War Games
Brother doubts alleged violent plan would have been carried out
David Stone Sr. loved to hunt, loved to play games -- and loved his toy soldiers long after the age when most teenagers have moved on to cars and girls.
"All he ever wanted to do was play with his G.I. Joes," said his older brother Randall Stone, 48, of Texas. "It was like, 'Dude, it's time to grow up.' "
David Stone, 45, of Clayton is accused of masterminding a plot to kill a Hudson cop in hopes of spurring a larger battle with government forces. Dozens of weapons, explosives, thousands of rounds of ammunition and bullet-proof clothing were found following the recent arrests of Stone and eight other members of the Hutaree militia he led, the government alleges.
Yet Randall Stone, who lives in a small town 70 miles west of San Antonio, isn't convinced his brother's alleged plan would ever become anything more than an adult facsimile of a complex military-style board game he had devised as a kid. Or an extension of the cowboys-and-Indians games at which his brother was considered the best.
He's also not sure if the charges against the Hutaree members warrant a life sentence in federal prison.
"I don't know if he had the mentality (to kill)," he said, "because to him it was always about playing."...

Recent Militia Arrests A Wake Up Call For Local Law Enforcement
It turns out there was a very good reason that the Detroit office of the FBI declined comment recently when a reporter from AnnArbor.com asked whether local militia groups posed a threat to public safety.
At the time, the FBI was days away from launching a series of raids that would result in the arrest of nine members of the Hutaree militia group on charges of conspiring to kill local law enforcement officials.
In light of the charges, it’s beyond ironic that militia members were invited to work alongside sheriff’s deputies searching for missing persons in Bridgewater Township on two recent occasions...
Feds Say They Saw Pattern Of Escalating Hostility In Hutaree
CLAYTON — Two young boys had died near David Stone Sr.’s ramshackle house, and he was ordered to give answers.
He didn’t.
Instead, after months of ignoring lawyers’ requests to respond to a wrongful death lawsuit, Stone filed for bankruptcy, a move that allowed him to avoid trial in the drowning deaths of 17-month-old Qamar Griffin-Jones and 2-year-old Darrin Hayes — two relatives who had wandered away from their baby-sitter and fallen into an uncovered hole Stone had dug for a septic tank.
Indiana Militia Knew Of Hutaree
News of the raid on members of Hutaree, Christian militia members accused of plotting to kill police officers, wasn't the first time William Flatt had heard of the strange name.
In fact, Flatt said he wasn't surprised at the news.
"We had a strong suspicion that groups like this would be getting some rather substantial bad press fairly quickly," the downstate Ingalls man said.
That's because Flatt is a founder and member of the Indiana Militia, one of various militia groups across the country. Unlike Hutaree, which claims on its Web site that members don't believe in any "man-made group," most militias form with the intent to uphold the U.S. Constitution...
Rage On The Right, Rise Of Militias
Lint on lunatic fringe invigorated
Last week, the Michigan Militia disavowed any relationship to the Hutaree Militia, a "Christian cult" and far right-wing equivalent of a crazy aunt.
The Michigan Militia sniffed that it didn't know why its name showed up as a link on the Hutaree MySpace profile page that carries the slogan: "Violence Solves Everything." And the Michigan Militia sure didn't know anything about the purported Hutaree plot to kill police or firebomb a funeral. When things turn ugly, the Michigan Militia has a history of giving the brush-off to the lint on the lunatic fringe.
Americans, grappling with domestic terrorism on a devastating scale, heard in 1995 the Michigan Militia disavow association with the two men accused in the Oklahoma City bombing. The militia called them curiosity-seekers who gave their group a bad name. Yet the record is clear: When Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh decided to network with other "patriots" they didn't seek out Rotarians or the Lions Club. Welcome or not, they visited the Michigan Militia...
Christian Fanatics In Campaign Of Terror Against US President Barack Obama
SECURITY around Barack Obama has been dramatically increased after it was revealed he is the target of Christian fanatics.
The number of Secret Service agents assigned to the President has been doubled after the arrest of nine members of a crazed sect last week.
The self-styled Christian “warriors” – members of the Hutaree Militia in Michigan – had been plotting to unleash a campaign of terror, starting with the slaughter of scores of police officers.
But evidence amassed by an undercover government agent indicated they also wanted to “take out” Obama...
And now the President’s security staff have demanded FBI files on at least six other militia groups suspected of being involved in separate assassination plots.
A senior FBI source told the Daily Star Sunday last night: “What the agent uncovered goes all the way to the very top.
“And we know for a fact that the Hutaree Militia is merely the tip of the iceberg.
“There are zealots out there now planning the unthinkable. There are very cogent reasons for believing this group and others have the President in their sights.”...
