Army to Assign Reserve Units to NORTHCOM, Other Regional Commands

The US Army plans to increase integration of active duty and Reserve forces and to align reserve units to regional commands to better meet their needs.

After 11 years of war since 9/11, the Army is going to have to meet its obligations with a smaller force, Army Secretary John McHugh said during the annual meeting of the Association of the United States Army Monday.

"I believe very strongly we can and in fact we already have started [to do so]," McHugh said.

To adjust force structure, equipment and training, McHugh seeks to integrate reserve forces and to continue to make use of the operational reserve built by the Army since Sept. 11, 2001, McHugh said. The capabilities of the Army Reserve and National Guard as a trained and ready force are "paramount" to national security and stability, McHugh said.

To that end, McHugh signed a directive for a "total force policy," he announced Monday. The directive calls for the Army to man, train and equip active and reserve components in an integrated force with the goal of setting predictable, recurring and sustainable capabilities

The Army will develop and implement unified personnel management, foster procurement programs for the total force and facilitate opportunities for soldiers to move between different military components, McHugh said.

In a panel later in the day, Maj. Gen. James Young, chief of staff of the US Army Reserve Command, said the Army Reserve in particular has been too fragmented in the past.

Six years ago, the Army reorganized the Army Reserve so that all units of a particular function aligned under unified command and control, Young said.-[Full Article]

USNORTHCOM Gears Up For Potential Attack On US Soil

USNORTHCOM has admitted that they are preparing military operations within the United States. This is the first time in history this has been done and they will be working with DHS, state and local law enforcement on U.S. soil.

The focus of this operation will be in our own back yard. Northcom is planning on defending against enemy attacks and supporting civilian authorities with fighting an unconventional foe, all on US soil.

NORTHCOM went on to say that the drill will be in the Gulf area. They anticipate no infrastructure and possible extreme weather conditions.

“Even more significant, this inspection marked the first time that any Air Force unit has been wartime validated in support of the security and defense of the United States of America. That’s huge,” Nelson said.

“The survival of thousand Americans rests on this training”.

The Intel Hub believes they are preparing for a potential mass evacuation of the Gulf. The chemicals in being used on this oil spill could be considered a chemical attack on ourselves! We will keep you posted. This could be part of Operation Garden Plot. and possibly could be why there has been reports of hardened troops building up in the Gulf.

U.S. Military To Impose Order In American Towns In Time For November Elections

Within one month of the November midterm elections, a specially tasked unit of the United States Army will be on alert and ready to deploy within the borders of the United States to quell “civil unrest” that some fear may afflict the nation in the summer months prior to the elections.

Predictably, advocates of the unlawful deployment of our military use fear to foment support this action. They call to mind the summer of 1968 when riots and demonstrations decrying the country’s prolonged conflict with Viet Nam plagued some of America’s large cities. The summer of 2010, they advert, could be “our long, hot summer of discontent.” In order to prevent that eerie specter from becoming reality, proponents encourage Americans to welcome the calming presence of armed American troops patrolling potential hotspots.

The subordination of such an outfit, known as the Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF), under the command of US Army Northern Command (NORTHCOM) was documented last year by this writer in The New American.
